Ponca City Medical Center has signed a contract with a family medicine physician who will begin practicing here next year.

Brad Liston, D.O., is currently a resident at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa. He will complete his training next summer and open his practice in Ponca City soon after. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University in 1999 and completed medical school at OSU in 2007.

“We are pleased the Listons have chosen Ponca City as the place to make their home,” said Andy Wachtel, Ponca City Medical Center CEO. “We are looking forward to welcoming them to our community and working together to grow a successful practice.”

Dr. Liston and his wife, Katie, have two children ages 2 and 5. They are familiar with north-central Oklahoma as Mrs. Liston is a 1995 graduate of Newkirk High School. Dr. Liston is originally from Moore.
